Bathroom

Ah the 3 day weekend of painting/ kitchen redo. While Hubby's uncle worked on the kitchen, the rest of us tackled the rest of the upstairs in paint. This post's project? The bathroom. Aren't those gold butterflies amazing?

Decorations on the wall. Those sconces were 1.50 each at a thrift store, and the picture frames my Mother-in-law gave me years ago and just never had a space for them. They look amazing in the bathroom, I have to say!






Now time for some new lighting...

Hubby's uncle apparently had some older light fixtures from other people's houses. A bit of spray paint, and they have new life (I also sprayed some other metallic pieces from the bathroom to bring it all together)

The Game Den AKA Front Room

 My next project took a long time to decide what I wanted to do. I honestly had it stuck in my head that I had to have this normal front for the world to see, that my interests and things that bring me joy had to be hidden, to be ashamed of. I have been shedding that idea over the last several years, and this, I feel, was the hardest one to open up. But I am so glad that I did. It's still a work in progress, but little by little, it's becoming the amazing vision I had in my head.  We love playing D&D and all kinds of games, so what about a medieval style room?
